Vassilev Maritime Ltd. ensures compliance with Chapters XI-1 and XI-2 of SOLAS 1974 as amended and the International Code for the Security of Ships and of Port Facilities (ISPS Code). The relevant international and national statutory instruments related to the ships’ security are also adhered to.

A Company Security Officer and Ship Security Officers as required are assigned and provided full support on behalf of the company. Approved ship security plans are in place for all ships operated by the Company and certification of the fleet was completed prior to July 1st 2004. All ships operated by the company hold valid International Ship Security Certificates.
