In 2004 we established and certified with the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping a Non Destructive Test laboratory. Now we can carry out:

• thickness measurement reports of vessels’ hulls
• damages surveys of shafts, screws, bearings and kort nozzles
• visual inspection of engine shafts, liners, bushes, crank shafts, bolts etc.

The laboratory is equipped with the latest state of the art equipment produced by the leading companies. In order to provide a full set of services we have:

• Magnetic crack detection kits based on the use of magnetic clamps Magnaflux Y6\

• Fluorescent crack detection using black light Magnaflux ZB 100 F

• In order to perform thickness measurement reports we use ultrasonic gage AD 3235

• For sophisticated analysis we use ultrasonic flaw detector General Electric USM 35 S
  The colour display enhances clarity even further, especially in weld inspections: the patented colour-coded display of legs is a special highlight when using angle-beam probes for testing. The colour of the signal changes with every reflection of the sound beam from the work piece surface.
