This department is responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the vessels. It has four subdivisions:

a) Shiprepair sub-division – Due to the large number of vessels we manage, we developed a sub division to our Technical department which is dealing with the repairs we perform. Our vessels are usually repaired at the Ship Repair Yards situated in Bulgaria, Russia and Turkey. Our superintendents maintain continuous on site cost and quality control of the work carried.

b) Purchasing sub-divivision – This sub division is responsible for the proper maintenance of the vessels’ stores and equipment. Large number of vessels allows us to obtain favourable terms with the most of the marine suppliers evident on the market thus helping us achieve cost effective management.
We are ready to quote you any of the usual marine supplies with delivery on board the vessel at Bosporus.

c) Non-destructive testing laboratory. We are able and authorized now to carry out thickness measurements to vessel’s hulls and diagnosis and defectation to mechanical parts using ultrasonic, magnetic, visual and penetrating methods.

d) Radio sub-division – it is responsible for the repairs of vessel’s radio equipment.
